Quick Chutney Curry - A Special Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of chutney
  • 4 oz of water or broth (chicken, vegetable, or beef)
  • White steamed rice or bread of choice
  • Optional proteins: raw shrimp, chicken, tofu, or hard-boiled eggs

Pour the contents of the chutney jar into a warm pan.

Saute the chutney over medium heat for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Add 2 ounces of water or your preferred broth for added flavor.

Stir well to ensure a smooth, well-combined consistency.

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer on low to medium heat for about 5 minutes (optional: add desired proteins here).

Stir occasionally until the desired consistency is achieved and the proteins are cooked.

Serve the chutney curry over steamed white rice.

Tip: For a heartier meal, add proteins like shrimp, chicken, hard-boiled eggs, tofu, or vegetables during the simmer step. Adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure that the proteins are fully cooked.
